Landscapes - current works in progress
On the dreariest of days, my photography references invoke so much inspiration for my work and the beauty of those moments stand still forever in my paintings, holding the memories of visiting these wonderful places around us.
Here are 2 of my current work in progress landscape paintings to show you.
Both are smaller pieces: The one on the left shows an old broken dry stone wall upon Baslow Edge in Derbyshire and the one on the right shows a view of Hardwick Hall from the gardens.
I visited both of these lovely places this summer and took some really great photographs. At both sites, there is such a wealth of beauty to choose from.
